I enjoyed it too, even while I was picking out the major inconsistencies... but I like your explanation for Kelly's rapid turnaround!

Yes, there were holes and many questions, but it didn't dampen my enjoyment. I like this whole human threat and 'real' life consequences story line, and it intrigues me.

Yes, Kelly was interesting. She went from horrified to protective very quickly, and it made me wonder if this baby has some kind of power over her. I'm looking forward to more on that.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Aptly chilling and yeah, this is how I interpreted Kelly's turn-around too. This season does seem to be shaping up to be about mothers and motherhood gone wrong, in a lot of cases.

Thank you for stopping by! Yes, it seemed to me like Kelly was being influenced somehow, as she changed her mind very quickly about the baby. And I do love this mothers and motherhood story line, it's very interesting and I have no idea where it's heading.

Thank you for your comment. Take care :)

12x08 was pretty confusing, aha, but I'm jazzed with where we ended up! I was also thinking about the nephilim's agency when it came to Kelly's about-face about keeping it--it sort of reminded me of the girl from 12x07, that Lucifer had carve Vince Vincente's name into her chest. Some kind of compulsion that's subtle, and feels like it could maybe be personal will (unlike, say, acts committed by one's body when under demonic possession, or even when possessed by an angel), but still seems just a bit off. It's a creepy concept!

Thank you for all your lovely episode drabbles, bb!

And thank YOU for always reading and leaving such thoughtful comments! ♥

Yes, I found Kelly fascinating; she's clearly a woman whose religion is important to her, so her quick about-face decision to keep it really stood out to me. It's unsettling, but also sort of understandable; the power of motherhood is certainly something that I hope we see more of this season (especially with Mary!) I've seen people mention that the last nephilim we saw was harmless, so maybe we're all jumping to the wrong conclusion, but the spawn of Lucifer sure doesn't sound good...

I haven't seen any spoilers, but I'm really looking forward to the next episode! Take care my friend :)
