CHARACTER HISTORY:
Originally Billy thought that he was born to Rebecca and Jeff Kaplan. He lived a pretty normal life. He enjoyed reading comic books, studying, spending time with his family, and watching everything ever placed on TV about the Avengers. That was until he turned thirteen. During school one day, a bully started to beat Billy up. Billy was able to get away finally with one a few bruises and found himself drawn to the Avengers manor. He was approached by a woman in a red hoodie who revealed herself to be the Scarlet Witch, Billy's favorite Avenger. He said that if he had powers, that no one would touch him, She told him that he needed to stand his ground against his bully. When he wasn't convinced, she told him “Be yourself, and the bullies of the world can't touch you. Stand your ground, see what happens.” She used her own magic on Billy then, and made all of his injuries vanish.

Billy however didn't take the Scarlet Witch's advice first off. He avoided the bully at his school, until one day he discovered that the bully had moved onto someone smaller. Billy knew he had to make his stand and came to the boys aid. Billy discovered during his fight with the bully that he did indeed have powers, resulting in him nearly killing the bully by electric shock. Billy ran from the school and ended up once again outside the Avengers Manor, however this time the Scarlet Witch did not show, as the Avengers had been disassembled and the manor lay in ruins. Billy didn't sit outside for long, before Iron Lad approached him, and asked him to join a team he was forming to save the world from a deadly foe. Billy joined the team and started to call himself the Asgardian.

There first reason mission together ended up with the group destroying St. Patrick's Cathedral, but making a few new friends in Cassie Lang and Kate Bishop. That night also marked the night that would change the Young Avengers forever. The foe, Iron Lad had formed the team to fight had come, and it was revealed that it was none other than Kang, one of the Avenger's deadliest villains. Once Iron Lad killed the future Kang and returned to his time, the Young Avengers were told to quit, by Captain America and Iron Man. The group of kids returned home with heavy hearts. However the following afternoon, Kate bishop introduced them all to their new uniforms. Billy even got a new name, calling himself Wiccan, and with a new uniform and the team full, the Young Avengers were ready to prove the old Avengers wrong.

For weeks the Young Avengers worked, all knowing the threat the Avengers held over them, the threat of telling their parents. Billy thought it would be best to tell his parents before Captain America could, but when he tried, his parents jumped to a different conclusion. That he was gay, though true, it was not the coming out he had been trying for.

The Young Avengers soon found themselves facing off against a new enemy, in the form of Mister Hyde. During their fight, Billy discovered that Eli wasn't a super solider as he had claimed he was, but was instead using a drug to enhance his own abilities. After Mister Hyde was taken down, Billy tried to calm Eli down. The only way that seemed to be able to do that was to use his magic, rendering Eli unconscious. This act, along with Eli no longer trusting himself to be a Young Avenger, caused him to leave the team.

When the group finally decided to talk Eli into returning they were attacked by the Super Skrull, who had claimed that Teddy, was the son of the Empress of the Skrulls, and the one who would bring peace to the Skrull race. The group retreats from the fight to Billy's apartment, where Teddy's mother is waiting with Billy's. The Super Skrull soon arrives and reveals that Teddy's mother is in fact a Skrull, who was sent to Earth to protect Teddy. The Super Skrull then attacks the woman, and though Billy tried, he was unable to heal her she ended up dieing on the floor. This is also the point where his mother first discovers he has superpowers.

The group, minus the now kidnapped Teddy, head to Avengers Tower to seek help. However they are told the Avengers are unavailable, and are told to wait until they could be contacted. This does not sit right with the young heroes, who gain a new member in the newly formed Vision, who uses the Avengers Failsafe program to locate a new member for their team, Tommy Shepard. The group head to the center in which Tommy is being kept, a Juvenal hall for super powered teens. Using his magic to alter his appearance, Billy goes with the Vision and Cassie Lang into the facility. The Vision is able to disable the power dampeners on the cell keeping Tommy in, and he blows himself out. The first person he comes face to face with is Billy, and the two are shocked to learn that they look identical. With Tommy in, the group head to locate Teddy and rescue him from the Super Skrull.

Their rescue mission quickly turns into the starts for the next Kree-Skrull war, as the Young Avengers are forced to flee from the approaching Kree army with the Super Skrull. While in route to the Avengers Tower, the Super Skrull reveals that Billy and Tommy are in fact the twins of the original Vision and the Scarlet Witch. Tommy however is not as convinces as Billy is, but before they could get anymore true information the ship they were on was attacked by the Kree and Skrulls. Teddy attempts, with Billy at his side, to stop the violence, but it is only when the Avengers appear that the two sides start to talk. Teddy and Billy both plead with Captain America to not let Teddy go with either side, and Cap agrees, resulting in the Kree trying to shoot the man. Eli however intercepts the blast and is taken out of the fight and to the hospital. The fight ends however when Teddy and the Super Skrull switch places to trick both sides. Leaving Teddy on Earth and the Super Skull a spy in the ranks of his own race and the Kree.

The Young Avengers then take it upon themselves to fix the memorial garden at the Avengers Mansion, Billy using his magic to create a statue of Scott Lang, Cassie's father and the Avenger known as Ant-Man. Billy also makes it known that he wishes to find the Scarlet Witch, and the Young Avengers make it clear they wish to help, except for Cassie who doesn't want to cause the woman killed her father. The group is interrupted from their morning of Teddy's mother by an explosion at the UN building. Tommy, know known as Speed has confronted the group calling themselves The Zodiac, and blows up a part of the building to stop them. Billy is later charged with fixing it and the Young Avengers have themselves a speedster.

The Superhero Civil War breaks out then through the world, and the Young Avengers are caught in the middle of it. They side with Captain America and their Secret Avengers, at first the group is set in charge of keeping an eye on the airwaves and radio waves for anything important. The group located the group known as the Runaways in California and go out to help them. During the fight, Billy and Teddy are captured and imprisoned in the Cube. Billy is forced to watch as the warden dissects Teddy in front of his eyes, making Billy attempt to kill him with magic. However the spell does not work, as Billy can not hear himself chanting. One of the Runaways, Xavin, soon awakes and is able to set Teddy and Billy free. The Young Avengers offer membership to the Runaways who decline. The Young Avengers head back to New York.

During a routine mission, Billy finds himself captured and taken to the prison known as 42. Teddy uses his powers as a shape shifter to get the intel needed to break Billy out of the prison and the Young Avengers are reunited for a short time. However the pressure is too much for Cassie, and she ends up leaving the team. The group remain friends with her, however.

The Civil War ends with the death of Captain America, forcing the Young Avengers to quit or register. Though Marvel's never actually stated it, it's assumed the group did end up registering. However they have avoided attending Camp Hammond due to their ages, or something. I have no idea why they weren't sent to the camp like Cassie, but they weren't there and they aren't in hiding anymore.

After the Civil War ended, Wiccan and Speed went searching for the Scarlet Witch (referring to her as "Mom"), when they encountered Master Pandemonium. Pandemonium recognized Wiccan's magic as that of the Scarlet Witch and further explained their original history as the Scarlet Witch's children. However, he likened the boys' search for their past and Wanda to his own former life as rising actor, and told them that their past was "darkness and chaos" and advised them that they should embrace who they were now. This satisfied Wiccan, who called off his search for now, deciding that he was happy with the person he was and the people in his life.

Billy, with the other Young Avengers, teamed up with the Runaways again when the Skrulls invaded.

Wiccan gathered the Young Avengers together at the Avengers Mansion to respond to wave of supernatural chaos caused by Chthon. The team was turned to stone by Chthon's magic, except for Vision and Stature, who arrived too late. Wiccan was later returned to normal, and went about his business as a Young Avenger.

Doctor Strange, the former Sorcerer Supreme, visited Wiccan to discuss his potential candidacy and ability to assume the position as the new Sorcerer Supreme. When the Hood found Strange and engaged him in magical combat, Wiccan aided him, contrary to Strange's orders to flee. Wiccan and Strange teleported to the New Avengers seeking help. When Strange was in good hands, Billy left to head back home.

A few weeks later Billy and the Young Avengers learned of a group who were using their name. The group went to confront them, and told them they would audition them for real membership. This didn't go over very well and the fake Young Avengers went to Norman Osborn. When Osborn's Avengers arrived to help the fakes, the Young Avengers attacked. Billy, along with the new Enchantress and Coat of Arms, banished the Sentry from the fight. Soon after Osborn and his group retreated, the fakes following soon after.

CHARACTER PERSONALITY:
Around his friends and family, Billy seems to be a whole different person. He's not overly outgoing but being around people such as his twin brother Tommy and his friend Kate Bishop, means he can not be one of the quite reclusive kids in the back of the class. Out of all of the Young Avengers, Billy is the most serious one. Focusing on his tasks with a keen eye and bright mind. He also seems to be the most intelligent, and is able to think much faster than the others of his group. Though most of the intelligence he seems to have can be chalked up to thinking things though, a trait which he's gained from his mother, a psychologist.

In his own school, Billy is withdrawn, and sulks in the shadows. He doesn't like attracting attention to himself if he can help it and it's the one thing that sets him apart from his superhero counterpart. As Wiccan he seems more free in his actions and emotions, however as Billy Kaplan, he is quiet and withdrawn. A result of the years of abuse he received from his classmates and bullies.

Billy is very protective of his family, as well as his friends. Along with being the most innocent out of his group of friends. He is often happy and carefree about life, but also worries way more than he needs too. Though he does not openly show his worry to others, it's shown in his actions and speech. Billy also holds a strange sense of humor riddled in sarcasm and snark, and he seems to try to find the best out of any situation.

In battle Billy has proven himself a highly gifted leader. He has a gift for intuitive planning and an insight into people which can give his team mates an edge. When added to his powers this often makes him the lynchpin of any plans created by Eli or Kate, something Billy is not always happy about.

WORLD:
Billy hails from the planet Earth, or Earth 616, as it is referred too in Marvel Continuity. It is a planet that is home to super humans, mutants, and humans alike. The Earth where he's from holds most of same countries, same personalities (politicians, movie stars, etc.), same historical events (World War II, 9/11, etc.), and so on. However, it also adds fictional ones, such as countries like Wakanda or Genosha, and organizations like the espionage agency, S.H.I.E.L.D. and its enemy, HYDRA. Her's much more information than I could ever write.
ROLE: He was a teen aged superhero, and a high school student.

SAMPLES
THIRD PERSON:
He didn't like how this was all turning out. Sure he had the power to teleport himself to any number of dimensions, in any number of realities. But this? He was in the future, and he wasn't on Earth, and if he was on Earth, something was seriously wrong with it. He placed a hand on his head as if it would help with the sudden dizziness he was experiencing. It wasn't helping, not in the slightly. He didn't even want to risk a spell. Time travel wasn't his thing, Iron Lad handled the time travel stuff, well he did anyways.

Billy closed his eyes as he took a deep breath, resisting the urge to cough up a lung or two. He had to find a way off of, where ever he was, before he died from inhaling the air. He closed his eyes for a moment and started to mumble under his breath: “Iwanttogetoutofhere”. When he cracked open his eyes, they were glowing a bright blue. But he wasn't moving. He stopped the spell, and looked around. Perhaps his magic didn't work here? No matter, he could always walk. And he could hear something in the distance.

Billy pushed off from the ground, hovering just slightly. At least he could still fly, that was good. He didn't want to have to much distance between himself and the rather hard ground, just in case, so he continued to hover as he headed in the direction he heard the noises from. If he was as lucky as some people said he was, hopefully the noise was his ticket off of this dead waste land. If not, well, maybe it was time to see how good he was at altering reality.

FIRST PERSON:
Now wait a minute here, where am I? Last thing I remember was, Cap... Oh God! He's dead. I just, I think I need to lay down a minute. The world isn't suppose to spin like this right?

NOTES: The scope of Billy's powers may seem limitless however it is in fact limited to things he concentrates on using Mantra style phrases, however he must be able to hear his own voice for the spells to work, along with truly wanting his spell to work. Billy is also openly gay, and has been since he was 13 years old.

Billy's going to remember everything from his time here before, if that's okay!
