Earlier this month, I was feeling crampy, and realized that maybe I should take something.
I promptly forgot to do so. Something about groggy and not having had my tea yet.
And then I had my big ol' cup of green tea, finished it right off, and was a little more alert.
Maybe half an hour later, I realized I hadn't taken anything for the cramps. But they were gone. The conclusion that seemed most logical to me was that something in my green tea had neutralized them.
Now, this is not straight green tea I'm drinking -- it's Zen from Tazo. There's also lemongrass and spearmint involved. If anyone with a better working knowledge of herbs than I knows that either of those are a Good Thing for crampiness, please leave a comment!
