New user info & a new interview.

Next up Inky_splotches is getting a well deserved over haul before I finally *gasp* update it with some icons and possibley a few wallpapers.
Apparently while I was walking the dog yesterday a lady tried to ring me about a job I had applied for. I rang her back today and we've arranged an interview for next Thursday. It's just an admin asst role, nothing too fancy but it's easy to get to and the people I spoke to on the phone were lovely.
I also got a call back for the job I interviewed for last Thursday. I have my second interview with them Tuesday.
So hopefully, *fingers crossed* I won't be one of the unwashed masses for much longer!
Tonight is pub quiz night but alas, I didn't actually end up going because my friend cried off as being sick. I don't really believe her I'm pretty sure her twattish boyfriend/fiancee won't let her out. Just as well, I wasn't much looking forward to another night of her gushing about her engagement and then spending the night worrying that her other half might be pissed off at her for some stupid trifle. She is so scared of him it's ridiculous and he is so controlling it is claustrophobic. I wouldn't mind if it didn't all come with a side helping of condescension just because she is engaged (albeit to a baffoon) and has a job. Sometimes I think she is only with her guy because she likes to feel superior to the rest of us. I am also glad I didn't have to hear her bragging on about how much money she earns.
Am going out tomorrow with oraclesmaiden and her sister to see The Cottage which I know will be fun! :D
