As he watched her get ready for her prom - a vision of beauty in sky blue - he couldn't help wish for her youth. The doorbell rings and she runs to the door, ringlets bouncing, to let in her date. As the boy greets her with a kiss Nathan is shocked to feel jealousy stab through his heart like a knife.
Identity Crisis
Sometimes its so easy to forget that he is her father; especially when they are laid spread out limbs entwined as they are now. He finds it hard to actually pin point what he is to her; father, lover, mentor, protector...so many words could describe their relationship. A relationship that is constantly shifting and evolving and he begins to lose sight of who Nathan Petrelli actually is...of what he is. So he chalks it up as an identity crisis before he kisses her cheek and falls hopelessly into the role of lover.

Awwww. Poor Nathan in "Prom". I love your little descriptions of what Claire looks like, "ringlets bouncing" and the colour of her dress. Really helps set the scene. Wonderful job. ♥

Pride is so a flaw of Nathan's, a huge flaw. God, I have no words to describe how much I absolutely love this last one. It's definitely my favourite of the three. You've captured Nathan perfectly, and again, I love your description of Claire. God, just wonderful.
