Holy crap! That is like, perfect. And I think it really ties in well with their characters and the show. A++++++ Fabulous job! I especially like him referring to Jessica as his soul mate - despite him loving Niki. Really wonderful. Perfection. ♥
Empty Lies
Again, really well written. You've really managed to get DL and Jessica and Niki downpat just perfectly. I love how it might be a lie coming from Jessica, but it could also be the truth - but it's empty. But the same words from Niki mean so much more. Very nice, very smart.
Protection
God, it might only be three lines but those three lines are just perfect. Because in a way, she did, didn't she? In episode 19 (was it really that long ago?) when Jessica looked in the mirror, Niki sent her after DL to look after him and make sure he didn't get himself killed. I'm not sure if you played on that purposely, but if you did - wonderfully done. And if you didn't - that's really quite genius. :p
God, I really want to read more DL/Jessica/Niki now. Thank you SO much for writing them. ♥
