Hey, everybody.
My name's Diana and i'm 16 years old. I guess I could say I was a fan of Claire Redfield ever since I saw a picture of her in a magazine back in the 5th grade. It was awkward, though, when I saw her because I felt a cool attraction toward the character. I played Resident Evil 2 and that's when I became a big fan of hers. At first I couldn't picture her being coupled with either Leon or Steve, since I thought Claire to be a woman deemed with independence. I started reading Claire/Leon fics for a while and fell in love with the idea of them together, Claire being the most preferred, of course. I bought Code Veronica, and, for some reason unknown to me, I started liking the Claire/Steve scenario for a while. Since then I jumped from that pairing to the other as I read various fanfics and began to have mixed opinions altogether.
Until recently, I stayed a Claire/Leon fan until I played Resident Evil 4. The whole intervention with Ada and Ashley coming into play seemed to distort my idea that Leon and Claire were a good couple. In the game, Leon the got skills, as well as the looks, and I couldn't help but wonder what had happened to Claire. It felt to me as though she disappeared completely, which was disappointing to say the least.
So anyway, i'm glad this community was set up. I though I was the only Claire Redfield freak on the planet, lol. Maybe i'll write some fics for some livelihood, but being the person that I am, i'm not good in coming up with ideas.
