Thought I should make an entry some time...here it is ^_^...XD I started one...but my LJ is pretty without putting writing all over it...ah well.

What better way to start my LJ than to talk about one of my greatest loves...PoundLand!

It's amazing I tell you! They sell anything and everything there! Harrods...eat your heart out...give me Poundland! Why buy your shampoo at super drug, when you could get the same one at poundland? And crisps...huge bags of crisps! Chocolate, GLITTER GLUE!!!! Monday...ah, pay day^_^! I shall pay poundland a visit...and buy bubble bath, and some things for the babby- am going to make an advent calendar. They also sell bulk painkillers, cold stuffs and such...and DIY things...there is a pack of something like 12 stanley knifes! why anyone in their right mind would want so many is beyond me, but...a pound, you can't argue with that now;P.

Did I mention...the best thing about poundland is everything is a pound?!

Hmm...my day yesterday- The first, and last time you will hear me talk about what I do at work...because an LJ full of work tales is a dull LJ indeed.

Left early for the bus- Pete is in Manchester and I was assaulted by the weather...hail, rain and a gust of wind that nearly blew me over 0.0. Shaking lamp posts and all that...Foam and bits of sea weed in the garden. Long and uneventful bus journey. Why don't they put any entertainment on them? Would a radio do so much harm? £11 return, and we get a shite service. Only one bus an hour on saturday, which is obviously not enough especially at christmas time when people come in from Fraserbugh to get shopping.Well...my public transport and privatisation rant can wait for another time.

Went to Poundland (amazing I tell you!) then went to super drug and bought softmints chuddy and paracetamol , and I went to work at the till^_^...where some woman left her nectar card behind and I was reminded that I have no basic maths skills>_<. God knows how I got that B at GCSE when I can't add up or take away. Next time I will write on the back of my hand to remember to press the right button. The till is not so hard...but I didn't expect putting clothes into bags to be so difficult!

I was asked about the work dinner again, and have to decide if I am going to go or not...it sounds nice, curry at some place on bridge street. I like everyone I've met at work so far, and I haven't been out for a meal for a long time (I miss that:( home sick! *pines*). But then, I would have to stay the night at my brothers halls or get pete to drive me. I don't think I would want to go for the drink afterwards because I don't have any ID, and curry without lager...well>_<. Maybe I'm being avoidant, but I think I would rather spend the night on the phone drinking tea...

I tagged the pyjamas- we don't have any CCTV and have to tag everything that goes out...oh the injustice:p We should be paid more for the extra work, and lost my customers as usual...and of course, when we didn't have what they wanted (we usually don't) I sent them to primark. Nearly all the stuff has been sold at the 25% off event- when I was sent out into the cold to hand out leaflets! XD I'm teh best at that..."please take one so I can go inside!! *big eyes big eyes whine whine* I'm cold! I don't get paid much! show some christmas spirit!" The leaflet people have an interesting relationship with each other...little smiles, exchanging leaflets and laughing at techniques. Meh...I will always take the leaflets from now on. Ooh...I got the best leaflet off some preacher in Aberdeen...it had the riders of the apocalypse on it! and a bloke with a beard!:D I will blue tack it to my wall. The end is nhy! apparently^_^.

We didn't have the music on, which was nice^_^. The same tape is played over. Awful christmas music and that hillary duff song...drive me mad! suu...tidied up, and went home. (Another long, tedious bus journey).

Not long till christmas now, and I miss Leeds walking through Aberdeen. The christmas lights are pretty, but they are too nice! Who said that good taste is allowed at christmas time? eh? Give me gaudy tinsel santa lights please, and a paper bag of chestnuts to keep my hands warm, and a wander around Leeds market, and Stephens mother XD I love her! I might be down in manchester for Christmas, which wouldn't be any fun...blah. I don't enjoy the way my step family does things, all competitive present getting..."I got this and this and this more than you... I don't like any of the food you spent hours making, so I'm not even going to taste it." Urgh.

I run out of things to say. If you are reading this, and you are not Helen...0.0 you are Helens friend!

<3 love.
