wtf?
Today has been....craptastic. I woke up in a panic because I barely had any time to get ready and I had to go to school for a Production meeting (and miss French class for the meeting,...but thats nothing new). I go outside to chip ice off my car while being pelted by freezing rain. Finally, all the ice is removed and I am ready to go. The 403 wasn't too bad. I made it to school in good time. When I arrive in the parking lot, it is pretty much empty. I am kind of wondering WTF and then find out the shuttle buses are not running. Damn it. Ok, I decided to walk up from the lot. It had stopped freezing raining anyways. As I was walking up, people were walking down the hill and one person stopped to tell me and a few other keeners that the school is closed. WTF. So, me, being the untrusting type, drove to the student centre to further investigate the situation. There were no parking nazi's in their booths, and the lot was quite empty.. I went inside the Student Centre and saw that La Piaza, Union Market and the Pharmacy were closed. Timmy's was open but closing so I grabbed a cup of coffee for the road and drove home. Sure enough, when I got in, I checked my email (which I should have done before I set out) which said that my production meeting was cancelled and to check the Mac website about the school closure. WTF.
Atleast this means that I miss a motherload of classes today, including a 4 hour night class =)
