wouldn't you think that if your father was an alcoholic and that ruined your parents' marriage and was some cause in his early death, that you would do whatever it takes not to become an alcoholic yourself? i don't understand the multi-generationalism of alcoholism. why are people not learning from their parents' mistakes? how, after going through ( Read more... )

I hate alcohol.

All it does is hurt people and kill people.

thanks guys :/

(for those that don't know, my dad has been in AA for a couple of years and that is going great, but my mom's drinking has gotten way worse. i don't know what to do and i really don't feel like going through this drama again. i was hoping i could just move and ignore it, but it's bad enough now that i can't. and it's really unfair to my dad who is doing so well. *sigh*)
