Like I said--can't not read.

Up until the end there, I was having visions of the MM being alive somewhere, maybe even in that bar. I'm intrigued by what you're going to do, and by the different feelings each of the other scoobies (counting Jeb as a scooby because he deserves it) is going to have about the baby.

And awesomesauce? This is the place to go for new words!

I never considered having the Mystic Man still be alive. I've never been a huge fan of resurrecting canonically dead characters in fanfiction unless there's a really compelling reason for it, and I think the MM is more interesting in how he affected things before the Witch.

You know, that line was hard to write because it kept being anachronistic. In its first incarnation it was "Brain offline, ask again later." But "offline" seems like a computer-related term, and I wasn't sure they had computers in the OZ, but "shutdown" could apply to any machinery.
