Who did I piss off?
First, I was sick ... like bad sick ... and it took forever to get over that. Then my internet connection went screwy for days then stabilized ... until today ... now it's acting all screwy again. The last couple of day the toilets for several buildings, including ours, stop working, they had to cut off the water to keep people from flooding the basements while doing laundry because there was some big issue. The city had to come in before it got fixed. I had to be out of the house, because you just can't have 2 kids and no bathroom. So, I wasn't even home all day yesterday. They finally got it fixed. I'm seriously starting to wonder who I pissed off! *lol*
On the upside, it seems that they decided to close a different office than the one my husband works at, so he doesn't have to worry about that for a bit. He didn't get the new job title or as much of a raise as they were telling him, but he did get more than we thought he would ... that's something.
My mom is back in town for a bit, don't know how long though. She got in this week and I have yet to see or hear from her ... never mind that she didn't even call me on my birthday *grumblegrumble* I'll probably be seeing her this weekend. I'll ambush her on Saturday, and likely someone has a thing planned for Sunday.
The weather has been amazing this past week ... unfortunately the mosquitoes are definitely awake and hungry ... ugh ...
