The Battle Of Little Britain - Round 5

Apr 13, 2006 11:13

I must first apologise for not updating sooner. I’ve had gastric and have been really badly ill all day + night Tuesday and all day Wednesday >.<

As snow begins to fall on the isle of Pie, Andrew Pipkin and his carer Lou set up camp.

“Now, are you sure you want me to go and look for wood?” Lou asks, bending down to his bespectacled friend.

“Yeah.”

“Because it might be snowy, and I might be away for quite a while.”

“Yeah I know.”

“I could take you with me,” Lou offers hopefully.

“Wanna stay here,” Andy insists, his expression vacant.

Lou sighs, walking off into the trees amid the snow to salvage anything useful. Andy watches him leave, minutes ticking away as Lou is suddenly nowhere to be seen.

“Wanna come with you,” Andy says after a moment, but it’s far too late to get Lou back. Sighing, Andy lifts himself out of his wheelchair and walks to where Lou’s flamethrower lies beside their food and water. He picks it up, fiddling with the handles with idle interest, until a nearby sound catches his ears.

“On a island up in Scot-land,
Doo doo doo doo doo doo,
Gotta kill people to get back to wo-rk,
Doo doo doo doo doo doo,
I’ve got a good idea,
Just you keep me near,
I’d be so good for... vicious murder.”

As an unbearable second verse begins, Andy pulls a face and fires the flamethrower randomly in the direction of the sound.

Hours later Lou steps over a tiny, charred body beside a burnt guitar. Puzzled, he carries the wood back to Andy, who is sitting placidly in his chair.

“I’m ba-ack!” He calls.

“Yeah I know.”

And so dear Dennis has gone to that great Unemployment Office in the sky... but who is next?

Vote now!
