Fred Phelps is dead.
I won't be picketing his funeral (obviously) but nor would I encourage anyone else to. ... If the fellow even has one.
Despite my belief in free speech, I believe in honoring the dead... or at the very, very least, in not spitting on the grave.
The latter is about all I'll offer here. I've nothing nice to say.

Fred Phelps did more for gay rights than anyone... whether or not it was ever his intention.
