So, what's new, pirate? (Woah-oah-oah)

Haven't posted in a while, so here's the update!

Disney offered me part time. I tentatively took it, but I had started working for a behavioral hospital. More money, more flexibility, more hours. They won out. So I ended up turning down Disney's offer, admittedly last minute. Wanted to juggle both, found it just impossible. My needs had changed.

I'm liking this hospital, even if it is a little... disorganized. We'll use the polite term.

But financially, it's a boon. I've been scraping by getting blood from stones for three years. Receiving 4-digit paychecks every 2 weeks... cannot TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I AM. I feel stable, once more. That's awesome for my overall well-being.

Our fourth roommate finally moved in here, which helps all the more financially, and we're all getting on well.

What else can I tell you. Let's see.

Working for Disney.... I certainly don't wanna singe any bridges so I'll choose my wording carefully. I still love Disney very much, but Disney as a guest and Disney as an employee... MUCH DIFFERENCE. It takes a lot of regulation and a lot of hands to keep Disney running. ... And sometimes, they had rules that impeded more than helped. Was very frustrating. I will declare I got a point of reprimand for following Disney instructions. They had me change costume, and the next day they wanted me in another one, but the costuming department closed an hour before I worked. Had no time to change. You would think that Disney would want to facilitate access to costuming to keep the show going. But that urge to penny-pinch... honestly I think it costs more than they recognize for the handful of dollars they save. Meh.

Even though I'm kinda leaving Disney behind, I've got an annual pass here. So if you few locals ever wanna enjoy the park, lemme know. (Looking your way, Foxmagic! =) )

I'm settled in here, in Kissimmee. And I likes it!
