Hello Everyone!!
Things have been super busy for me and I really haven’t spent much time behind the computer the last 2 weeks. From the title of this entry you can tell it’s going to be a long one so be sure to get comfy before you start reading this entry. J
Life: February 10th Danica Dora Pohl finally graced us with her presence. I went to school with her Mommy Kristi and I am so happy for her and her husband Juan. May you both have many wonderful years together as a family and as parents. Congratulations on your new baby girl!!! On February 13th Mary Anne Maskow also graced us with her presence. I work with her Mommy Paula and her Daddy Kurt. Congratulations Paula and Kurt!!
Death: Donald Maywald (aka Grampa Don) became an angel on February 13th. Grampa Don left behind a beautiful, caring wife Betty (Granny), 8 children and spouses, 25 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. Don was a great person. He was a happy go lucky guy that loved to play pool and fish. He was wonderful with the kids and I know that Madelynne will truly miss her special Grampa Don!!!! His funeral was beautiful and so sad. He was so loved and will be greatly missed.
Sickness: Virgil came down with a nasty sinus infection on February 10th. Madelynne wasn’t feeling well either so I babied both of my babies all weekend. Come Sunday the 12th they had gotten me sick too!! L I ended up with a really bad upper respiratory infection. I’ve never had one before and I pray I never get one again. I thought I was going to cough up part of my lung!!! It’s now the 21st and I am still getting over this nasty bug. I can’t take my cough medicine during the day while I’m at work because I would pass out at my desk. I suffer till I get home and then I’m good!!
Health: Madelynne is back to normal and Virgil is 100% better. With me on the mend the weekend is looking bright. I should be done with my medication by Thursday and back to new by Friday. Hopefully it doesn’t rain so that we are able to have a little fun this weekend.
Everything in between: Since we were all sick on Valentine’s Day and in no mood to do anything besides sleep we celebrated yesterday. J Madelynne got her goodies on Valentine’s Day. I had to make a medicine run so I picked up something for Madelynne and Virgil. I couldn’t let my Sweeties get nothing for Valentine’s Day!! Virgil felt bad because he was way worse off than me and he wasn’t able to get me anything. He made up for it big time yesterday though. J The 3 of us had a late lunch at the Olive Garden. Yummy!! Afterwards we went over to Sports Authority. Virgil bought me my very own bowling ball, bag, towel, and shoes!! We have been bowling together as a family for a couple of months now and I’m excited to get my own ball and shoes!! My man is so good to me!! How easy am I? You buy me a bowling ball and shoes and I melt!! HeHe!!
