A Sad Time for us....
Hello Everyone. I hope that all of you are healthy and in the best of spirits.
Our family has had to endure a horrible tragedy over the last couple of days. Our dear friend Megan has left us to become an angel. We will forever miss her bright smile and big beautiful eyes. We laid her to rest yesterday and I think it was probably one of the hardest days of my life. Madelynne was there with us and was so deeply saddened that her friend was gone. It was difficult to watch her cry for her but I know how much Megan loved Madelynne and how much Madelynne loved her. Madelynne always wanted to climb up in her lap and ride in her wheelchair. Madelynne was so into her wheelchair and was always so happy to see her. A little while back we all participated in a walk benefiting Muscular Dystrophy. Madelynne and Megan raced and it was so funny to watch them. I want to participate in the walk again next year too and we will do in Megan's honor! I will be putting a page together very soon in Megan's honor so that all of you that don't know her will have the opportunity to meet her and know the wonderful child that we all knew and loved so much. I haven't posted anything in Madelynne's journal or website since last Thursday! We left for camping on Friday morning and returned on Monday evening. We learned of Megan's death early Sunday morning and I have been busy with work and of course grieving. I will have some pictures and an update this weekend I promise!! We took some wonderful pictures and I would to share them with all of you.
I have to close for now so that I can head out of work and home to my wonderful family. I hope all of you have a wonderful evening with your loved ones. Be sure to kiss and hug them just because.
