Man I loved HBP. I literally could not put it down. I think that JK as matured greatly in her writing, and I love how the characters have grown over each book.

And may I say..YES! Finally Ginny and Harry! *squee*

I love the Ginny/Harry thing. She so an ass-kicking girl...not a sobby thing like Cho. He needs a strong one. That whole Hermione/Ron fighting cracked me up so...they all really grew up a lot in this book.

Phlegm cracked me up too...and the way Ron and Harry would just be clueless about why girls were the way they were. It was a great story.

The end, though. SNIFF. I heard it ended on a downer, but DAMN. From the fake locket on...damn.

Finally Ron realizes he's besotted with Hermione. I think he needed to be with Lavender for him to appreciate Hermione. I mean, come on. "Won, Won" for pete's sake. I wanted to smack the girl. lol

Ginny is totally kick-ass, and she's exactly the kind of girl that Harry needs.

Finally. I think he did need to be with an annoying one first to see what he was missing. When I heard it was Won won...I knew it couldn't be long before that got tired.

I loved Harry debating whether Ron would beat him to a pulp over liking Ginny...so funny.

Question - Snape...what do you think he was doing at the end? Still loyal to Dumbledore, undercover, and not killing Harry?

You know I thought Snape had some deep dark plan with Dumbledore, but JK seems to be hinting that he's evil. But then she's known for her misdirection.

I truly don't want Snape to be an evil bastard. I like the guy.

She's tricky, that JK. I thought originally that Snape had gone all bad and Dumbledore was foolish to trust, but now that I think about it, he might not be all bad. So confusing! Also with the unbreakable promise...he really couldn't do the right thing totally. I don't know! I guess we'll find out what his true intentions were in 7.
