Today's good thing
Today's good thing: we finally saw The Force Awakens! No spoilers, but it was awesome. Seeing the "old" heroes was great, but the new ones really shined : Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac. While Oscar Isaac is my new crush, Adam Driver was really amazing. Lupita Nyong'o was also a standout.
We also stopped by Lowe's, for just a minute for screws to fix my clothesline and possibly for a couple of rolls of already-marked-down gift wrap. I couldn't face the Douglas Walmart, though, so we stopped at the one here and it was not nearly as crowded as I imagined it would be.
I made a butter pecan pound cake tonight and sliced my fruitcake(if you even look at it, it raises your blood sugar - - it is so sweet) and just generally got everything ready for tomorrow.
6th Christmas special watched: How the Grinch Stole Christmas. And J chose #7: Rise of the Guardians.
