Today's good thing
Today's good thing: I accomplished a good bit today. Strangely, no laundry. LOL I was going to get up early and go pick up the stuff I need for the shower I'm going to tomorrow. But my left ear is infected and I didn't sleep so good. I made it to the store by 10:30 anyway. I came back, we had lunch and J and I finished the cake balls for tomorrow(Jennifer!). Then I went outside to stalk and photograph kitties. Pie was jealous and wouldn't associate with me until I went back out later and the kitties had went to the back yard. I made a delicious dinner including pork chops, squash casserole and fried green tomatoes.
And there are so many mad people on Facebook right now, all Republican, mostly racists and homophobes. My cousin Ricky, a redneck of immense proportion, posted a picture of himself with his giant confederate flag and the caption "Here today here here to stay". This pretty much sums up the people who love this flag... old, redneck racist, shirtless, showing his beer belly, holding a glass of whiskey, in front of a trailer. Not necessarily the kind you want your cause identified by, but there you are.
It will not dim my happiness about the flag coming down, Obamacare being upheld, and gay marriage being legalized. It was a good week!
