Good news and bad news
Good news is, the reunion went well - - I'll post pix soon. I got to spend quality time with the family this year, and hear some great stories from my Uncle Tip(my mom's oldest brother).
More good news - - we got the delinquent taxes on the land paid. J's dad gave us the money, and we will pay him back, in the form of he doesn't have to pay us his part of the cell phone bill for a while.
The bad news is, my laptop died. Well, not my laptop. j says it's fine, and the hard drive is fine(thank goodness - - he rescued my stuff off it). He says it's the hard drive connector. It works for a few minutes after he reconnects, but then it goes back out if you move it even a tiny bit. He's not sure if it's fixable(maybe get one off a similar laptop?) Anyone have any experience or opinion on this?
The upshot is, I won't be online as much. I know, how can you tell, right? LOL I can get on the internet on my phone in the living room, which is fine for reading, but I despise trying to type on the tiny keyboard.
All in all, things are good, and fall is here! We've had temps in the 40s at night and 70s during the day, and it is so lovely. Tomorrow and Tuesday I decorate for autumn.
