First off, thanks to mrs_sweetpeach for the headphones on my info page!
Tuesday:
Was another long day at work, but Elouise was there, so it was better than usual. And not doing a split shift is helping a lot.
J called me before I left for work and told me they had gotten in more lawn tractors, and since he was on the list last time and didn't get picked, he gets one this time. He's picking it up tomorrow. No more pumping up tires every time I want to cut grass! No more having to get J to get it to start for me! No more put-put and backfiring! I'm cutting grass(well, weeds anyway) on Friday.
Today, I slept late. I was so tired and so sore from not only Saturday, but 3 straight days of work. My brother Robbie called at a little after 9, and was very nice, so I knew he wanted something. He told me he was trying to get his driver's license renewed at the DMV(he'd done it online the last 2 times) and they wouldn't accept his original birth certificate, and he wants me to get him a new certified copy from the courthouse. He was vague on why they can't accept the one he has. So, I have to make a trip to McRae sometime soon(his birthday is April 9th).
After I gave up and got up, I did laundry as usual, finally took a look at my loot from Saturday, watched a really bad Colin Firth movie(Hope Springs), did dishes(they've piled up since Saturday), and talked to Elouise, Jan and J. When J got home, we went uptown to look for novelty license plates and holders. He wanted one for the car, and we had finally taken the one off the front of the truck, with the Dodge logo, that got damaged when J hit a deer, so I decided I needed one, too. Something in pink. *g* I saw a couple I liked - - a pink and black "Pirate Princess" one, and one with a pink breast cancer ribbon. J didn't find one he liked at all, but we did get holders.
And J got the second season of Knight Rider(which I can't believe I used to never miss), and I got season 4 of The Andy Griffith Show. I got season 3 the other day, but 1 and 2 are still sold out.
I also needed some potting soil and I broke my vow and bought an Osteospermum, or Cape Daisy. Mine is that color, a light purple.
