I feel better now
Mom's still smoking, and is being a little cool to me, but I really expected both of those. Even if it didn't do any good, she knows how I feel now, and I don't feel like all that's festering inside me now.
J cheered me up considerably. Regina was going to dye my hair for me, but was held up taking care of some business and J ended up doing it. I laughed through the whole thing. His mantra was "I know I'm messing this up." But he didn't, my hair is now Glowing Red Hot Red, and I'm thawing turkey and ham and generally getting ready for my pre-Thanksgiving cooking tomorrow.
