My day
I got up early and got my return to work paperwork and negative test results to send to Sedgwick, so I can(boo!) go back to work.
I planned to make a roast for dinner, but couldn't find one that suited me, so I got a package of stew beef and cooked it in the crock pot with onions, cherry peppers, a little water and some butter. It was delicious. And I made a chocolate chess pie, my first, for dessert. You can use any pie crust, but I used one of the refrigerated ones, in my own pie plate. It turned out so good!
And I spent a lot of time outside cuddling Lily. Last Saturday, J helped me finish a project: 2 stacks of cement blocks beside the steps at each side of the house, with 2 posts and solar lights in each of the 2 outside holes, and in the middle two holes, dirt and Ms Betty's vine. With the little bit of extra concrete mix, a made a little thing for the cat water dish to set on. I leveled it up with concrete patch today, and got Lily to put her paw prints in it. T'Challa came by later and added to the prints.
