Today's good thing
Today's good thing: I got up really early, before 6, due to cats(playing loudly, climbing in the window) and husbands(one in particular, stealing the sheet and moving every time I got back to sleep).
But I had the weirdest, neatest dream right before I woke up. It was set in my old school, but that's not really pertinent. There seemed be some sort of... convention, fair? going on, with different booths. This man, who looked a lot like Bat Masterson, from the old western tv show, had this piece of putty or plastic or maybe rubber that he had invented, and when you held it and thought of different things, the putty turned into whatever it was. I made it turn into a cat, a cardinal, a hedgehog, a blue bird and a hummingbird! I woke up happy because of this super random dream.
Anyway, J had gotten to bed super late and since I got up super early, I did quiet stuff like reading and then Bucky and I napped before I made myself some breakfast and did some laundry and dishes.
The lawn people came and cut the grass around 11:30, which is about when J got up. After they left, I sat on the porch, even though it was a little cool with the wind blowing, and enjoyed my freshly cut lawn and my flowers.
