Conculsion to Surgery
So she made it out of the hospital ok and is at my parent's house resting up. Mostly drugged but resting none the less. I found out she was being released when i called around 12:45 and she said she was dressed and awaiting the removal of her catheter. She text me when she got home and then went to sleep. Gotta love those pain killers. She is a trooper man, i saw her get a shot of vercet mixed with demerol in her thigh and normally that stings to high heaven but she just gritted her teeth and took it. I remember after her first surgery, the second day she was off of pain killers. I wish i had her strength sometimes.
It was great seeing so many loved ones (family and friends) come to wish her well and I know she really did appreciate it. And thanks again to everyone for their prayers, thoughts or other wise, i know it helped.
Not even home 12 hours yet and already she is calling to say that she is getting stir crazy and needs to get out of the house. Nutty! If you read this and you know her #, call her and tell her that she should stay at least close to home until the stitches come out. We don't need to take her back for another hernia to be fixed.
Thanks again to everyone who was there, asked about her or did a bit of praying for her. She'll be her normal self in no time... God save us.....
