Application/Code Help needed
Ok, I need an app that will enable me to download a file from a specific location on teh web and place it on my own webspace.
Specifically these are stock-lists that I want to link to my own shop database and are provided by our supplier in CSV format.
To obtain them I need to log into their site, browse to the location and download.
The files follow a standard naming format but change each day to include the date, for example dreamgirlonhand-07-02-09.csv. For ease when I upload them to my own space I would like to rename them to dreamgirlonhand.csv
There are around 5 files I need to grab/rename/upload so the app needs to be expandable and preferably easy to use/configure.
I can run this locally, or serverside (webspace supports php, asp and more)
Again ideally this would be a completely automatic process but I don't mind running the app manually on a daily basis, but it would be nice if this involved little more than pressing a button.
Do you know of such an app that is available (free) or any instructional guides I can look at in attempt to build such a thing myself.
Of course you coul do this for me (flutter lashes) but I feel like this would be asking a lot.
