Birthday Picspam the Third.
Emi's had a bit of a trying year, what with almost dying this summer and taking quite a long time to recover, and from the looks of it he'll be on a special diet for the rest of his life to make sure his innards stay in shape (I've given up the battle on the rest of him, clearly he is meant to be pudgy).
But everything's good now! Aside from not getting to go in the kittens' room. And he's SIX YEARS OLD OMG. (Watch me lose my shit completely next year when Major K turns ten.)

P.S. I'm taking the big foster kittens in for vaccinations tomorrow. If the rescue vet deigns to give them. (I live in dread of what she'll find wrong with Mirna this time.) Not that I won't be sad to see them go, but their homes are getting really impatient.
