10 Things I love Starting with the Letter L
From thepodsquad. This was quite freakishly hard. I'm sure the minute I post this I'll come up with five hundred things I like that start with L, but... anyway. If you want a letter, let me know (although this has been going around for a while so you may be over loving things already).
1. Light. OH HOW I'VE MISSED YOU. I honestly, really and truly, never used to mind the dark winters until I got into photography. And nowadays, November through January kind of kills my soul bit by bit. Of course, it's been worse these past two winters because there's been little to no snow to brighten things up.
2. Lingonberries. Kind of like cranberries, but with a different sort of tartness.
3. Life. Er, the show. It was a battle between this and Life on Mars. And Life won.
4. Lap cats. What? L IS A HARD LETTER. SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO CHEAT.
5. Leevi and the Leavings. A Finnish band from the seventies-eighties that I'm inordinately fond of because their lyrics are A++ awesome (and untranslatable, because English doesn't have a word for, among other things, "a hole you cut in the ice of a lake so you can swim in it" that I know of - maybe I just need a better dictionary).
6. Licorice.
7. Lee Adama. OK, so I don't watch Battlestar Galactica anymore. But the squeeing over the s4 promos has reminded me how very much I loved s1 Apollo (and PILOTS).
8. Laziness. It's a valid lifestyle choice, people!
9. Lists. Of Doing. I make them. I like crossing things off, OK? Actually, I keep them in a google doc so I can cross things off even when I'm not at home, and selecting items with the cursor is not as satisfying as slashing through them with a pen, but still.
10. LJ. I didn't want to use this since it's so obvious, but... WHATEVER. You guys brighten my days and bring glee to my heart. Etc.
