Yay, Go Braves! So we beat the Cubs again- this time 5-1. It was an excellent game except for the 2-hr. rain delay, in which my family decided to give up & go home when i knew we were going to finish playing... I wore my Cubs shirt tonight ::gasp:: but i took black electric tape and placed a huge X over the logo. Everyone loved it except this one little girl who hates me. We may go to the game Thursday and get some cheap seats, and then of course I'm going to the game w\ Heather & Kristen vs. Milwaukee on Sunday. Whoohooo!
A sports man is the man for me I have decided- and an actual sports player would be an ideal for me... or Andy Roddick (not that he's not an actual sports player)- but we know he's athletic, he's cute, and he's funny, and he has money. Regardless, a sports player would be great b\c he would have money, I could travel, and he would love sports. ::sigh::
the 4th was nice. spent in the pool all weekend- and then the "redneck fest" where a bluegrass band plays such hits as "i've got 5 lbs of possum in my tail lights tonight" it was good to chill and have time with the fam, and not so good to go back to work today.
i am seriously going to start looking for a new job. which i hate to say. but today when i go home to get my lunch, i have to put it in the oven, and i come back to work and my boss tells me i need to clock out if i'm going to be gone that long again (15 minutes). that's when i've had enough. what a fopper. for those of you who don't know, for me going home to get my lunch- it requires me walking next door to my house.
off to bed, another sure to be exciting day at work tomorrow. shoot me now.
i know i'm alone if i'm with or without you, but just being around you offers me another form of relief... cause you're just damage control for a walking corpse like me.
