[The communicator clicks on to the sound of rapid breathing. It stops for a second, and then--]

The Wolf is coming.

[Her voice sounds weirdly strained, cracking in odd places, as through it's a struggle to form words. Rather than sounding frightened or distressed she sounds...almost gleeful. The comm hits the floor with a thump. Seconds later ( Read more... )

[She's just sort of staring at her comm, even as she traverses the hallways in search of somewhere to eat. Geez, there are some really weird passengers on the boat, aren't there. Understatement of the millennium.]

[After Marco so rudely took her golf club, Attika did indeed go back to her room...but only to pick up a new one. Yep. She's been stockpiling.

So she's armed once again when she sees Katara nearby. The Wolf in her head snarls at her, and she's moving half a breath later, coming up behind Katara and bringing the club down, aiming to strike her in the back. She's learned her lesson--no more frontal attacks!

[That is what we call foul play around these parts, my dear. Katara didn't hear a thing as the woman snuck up from behind, rose her club and struck. The initial stun had her stumbling forward, but the shriek of pain was almost as instantaneous as the strike itself had been.

The pain followed accordingly, and the girl dropped like a sack of potatoes, curling onto her side to roll away. Gods it hurt. Within the blink of an eye, Katara had drawn out her water and whipped it to dislodge whomever had attacked her from the ground.]

[Something's wrong. The wolves keep biting back.

It has to be the weapon--she needs a blade, but this all she has for now. At least she didn't lose the club this time.

Attika retreats when the water whips toward her, abandoning Katara on the ground and moving on. She'll come back later. Once she's found an axe.]
