i went to the Whaley House today. i didn't see/hear/feel any ghosts this time but i don't blame them, the house is being renovated ant everything is different and smells like paint. apparently they are trying to restore it to it's 1870's state where there is one master bedroom, one children's bedroom and a theatre upstairs. it is not as good as it used to be and they got rid of the maniquins(i spelled that wrong) that showed the family going about their daily lives and it has lost it's eerie atmosphere. it also seemed a lot smaller or cramped, especially upstairs. they got rid of a lot of stuff i needed to see in order to complete my painting so i will probably do it differently than at first planned.
