The San Francisco Treat!!!
Last weekend I made my way to the LOVELY city of San Francisco. I must say this is probably my new favorite city... actually... tied with NYC. Beautiful, amazing city. So much going on and so much there that I didn't have time for EVERYTHING, but I did do a lot.
I stayed in the town of Alameda, which is an island off of Frisco. CUTE town by the way. All these lil mom and pop type stores and all of them were decorated for Christmas. The town hall had all these cute xmas decorations. It was windy, cold, and rainy... so it really did feel like Christmas!
Saturday I was taken ALL over San Francisco. I saw Alcatraz from across the water and the Golden Gate Bridge. The seals at Pier 39. A BUSHMAN that scared me! Ginormous xmas trees! The old home of the Ghiradelli Chocolate factory where I recieved a delicious sample of their dark chocolate with carmel. Yum. The old Del Monte canning factory.
And LOOK! SANTAS EVERYWHERE!
We made our way down to Haight and Ashbury. So awesome to walk around down there. Just imaging the madness that took place down there is awesome! I was a bit dissapointed to see a GAP on the corner, but whatever. The hippie shops all around made up for that. This is one place I had been wanting to go since I was like a freshman in High School. Woo!
After walking around down there we headed to this Pub called Toronados. Holy crap was this the best place of ever. It looks all dark and kind of cave like, but it has over 50 beers in tap from ALL over and not to mention their awesome seasonal collection. Also, they have all their old taps displayed on the walls. Definitely a fun place!
Anyways, I can not wait to go back to the bay! There is so much more stuff I want to do and see. Plus, there are like 1 million resturants I would just love to eat at. Everything smelled delicious.
