Never Thought I'd Say This...
I've been involved in a breakup, and for once, it wasn't my heart that was broken.
I just ended what was the closest thing I had to a relationship. We'd hung out and even fooled around a few times, but we were never officially dating. Even though, at one point, I'd wondered if we were. After that point, when I was told he wasn't feeling me like that, my feelings started to change. I guess both on ours did without me realizing it.
The truth is, I was the one not in love this time. And I just broke someone's heart.
I didn't want to live with a facade anymore. I had to tell him the truth about how I felt, but I didn't expect him to start falling for me.
I don't feel sad, just strange. Usually, I'm the one that has to pick up the pieces, but I'm on the other side of an unrequited love.
But maybe this is proof that I'm just not ready for a relationship with anyone...
