livejournal's 10 years old!
To celebrate, I'm abandoning it. I've moved this entire blog over to Wordpress, meaning I've finally caught up with 2006. Really, I only kept this one so long out of a bizarre mixture of laziness, habit, and sentimentality. But there's no search feature in livejournal, and 500 posts is a hell of a lot to have to wade through when you're looking for something.
Wordpress has a beautiful import feature, so all my posts (and comments!) are already there. Though for some reason it only counts 497.
The upshot is I get to celebrate #500 twice!
I'll still check my LJ friends list, naturally.
