Update on the signs: On my way to school this morning, I noticed the "You can't steal our votes!" sign was gone. There's some black stuff underneath the post - I wonder if it was burned? Seems kinda overkill, maybe (hopefully) it's something else.
Today, in class, these two (Christian) guys were discussing the election. Now, I spend my time amongst somewhat liberal people and though I hear a bit about the crazy conservative Christians, I've never really been able to observe them up close, until now. The subjects of my study were talking about how Bush would win, had to win. And how all Christians would vote for him, because Christians vote their morals!
I could see that nothing I could do would change their minds, so I laughed quietly to myself - the world's gonna be a rude awakening for them. I just hope they don't hurt too many in the growing process.
