Mr TD swears by the TENS machine for all manner of muscle and nerve pains.

Might have known Teasle would take matters into his own paws and sort out his right to stay!

Glad you both are settling in well :o)

I think the TENS thing is going to be a bit of a trial and error job until I find out which position for the electrodes suits me best, but I shall persevere!
Poor wee(!) Teasle-tat thought I was the worst Mummy evah because I kept hootling him off the window ledges and telling him to shush... He is sooo much more relaxed now, and can take his pick of places to kip.

He'll have the residents committee wrapped around his tail in no time!

Oh good, I'm glad it's all settled.

Anne at Sheffield Group has just got a TENS, and thinks it's wonderful.

I'm going for a physio exam tomorrow morning, and I've ordered a Wii Fit because it has posture and balance exercises. Years of carrying a huge shoulder bag have not been kind ...

It really is a load off my mind, and off my shoulders, which is where I usually carry my tension.
I have a spare Ameribag
( http://www.thehealthybackbag.co.uk/epages/healthyback.storefront) healthy back bag going cheap (in red), if you fancy summat better to carry... reasonable offers considered!! Unused...

My handyman likened the dicovery by the committee as being akin to having a boil lanced. You know it's going to hurt like hell initially, but Oh! the relief!! Result: a very relaxed cat and a happy me.

Don't worry about taking the pain meds, motrin (at least) also suppresses the inflammation, which is causing a lot of the pain. I have joined your "Owmyback" club this past week.

I admit I had to Google "Motrin", as we don't have Ibuprofen under that name here, It's just usually Ibuprofen, or if you want to pay vastly more for a brand name, "Nurofen". I have to be a bit wary of Ibuprofen, because it sometimes annoys my IBS, so I ring the changes with Paracetamol or occasionally Codeine.
The back is yet another badly designed bit of kit, along with teeth and female "plumbing"...

Yeah ditto on the IBS but everything bothers mine. I don't think God (or evolution) is done with us yet. At least I hope not.

Well, welcomed by some - tolerated by others - but definitely a bona fide resident!
You have got to see this place!!
