(no subject)
Last night was fun! I gave Garry a Max Hat for his birthday :-) (Also a home-printed t-shirt and a couple of movie parodies.) We went out to dinner with Kat and Ed, to the Fat Kat, where Ed bought the dinner and I bought the drinks. The food in there is great if FAR too big…! They have a nice wine list too. So there was steak and almost an entire bottle of chianti each, and the chianti was nice enough that I have no trace of a hangover today! (No, Ed, I DIDN’T try your vodka trick…!) It was an exceptionally pleasing evening.
This morning for almost the first time I didn’t want to leave the pies and go to work because they were being Just Too Cute! Milli is definitely the heartbreaker of the litter - she’s the kind of kitten who Chooses everyone! You know how you hear some people saying “I didn’t choose the kitten, she chose me”? They tend not to realise that that same kitten chooses everyone they meet :-). That’s Milli! She loves being petted, and loves getting her belly rubbed, and loves playing with fingers gently. A couple of people have met her and ended up saying “ooh...if you can’t sell her...maybe...” I just want her muzzle to pook out and her ears to perk up, then *I* get to keep her! :-) She already has the best coat, and is gaining weight like a lapsed Atkins dieter at a bakery convention.
Elmo’s place in the world has been determined - he is a Ginger Pillow. Normally it’s Milli who subjugates him, but this time it’s Pen.
Neeli is getting cuter (in personality at least!) and is displaying a love of showing her spotty belly to the world. I think she’s maybe just jealous of Pen, who has the spottiest belly in the house.
And Milli is just fat and lovely! She has a way of looking at you that makes you think she loves you more than anything in the entire world. Clever little minx!
