Happy 4th Warped story.....

Happy fourth of July to everyone, have fun celebrating our independence and freedom and all the good stuff, Etc,Etc,Etc.....but try to remember our country is more unstable than it has ever been. There are people dying right now for causes they believe in strongly and it is making this world a dangerous place so try to stick together and be thankful for what you have. On a lighter note I went to the Warped tour yesterday in San Francisco and had a great time. I saw many old friends, Drank to much cheap alcohol and sang along all day to old and new songs by bands I grew up with and bands I love. I started the day out by watching The Sounds who I thought were very impressive but tended to get a little slow from time to time. After that I headed over to the Bouncing souls HQ where I partied with the "True Believers" crew for a while until it was time for them to hit the stage. They played a great set full of some of my favorite Souls songs so I was pleased. By the end of their set I was feeling nice and drunk so I wandered through the bus's encountering all sorts of people I have not seen forever so I spent some time catching up until it was time for the mighty Flogging Molly to hit the stage and they hit it alright. They got the crowd into a frenzy like only Dave king and the rest can do. After this I caught a few Alkaline Trio song's but by this time was way to intoxicated to know what was going on so I headed back to the Souls/NOFX camp where Fat Mike was having a punk rock baby shower for his wife and partied into the cold, foggy San Francisco night. Tomorrow I head back to LA to start rehearsals for our upcoming tour with Against All Authority and our headlining show at the knitting Factory in Hollywood on July 11th where I expect to see all LA Madcap fans there! So again happy 4th of July and if you have any stories from today let's hear them.
