Thanksgiving

Nov 27, 2003 09:00

Well, although I obviously blow at this regular journalling stuff, I thought I should probably come over here today and record some of these thoughts...

It's traditional in our culture to reflect at this time on the things for which we are thankful. In doing this, I've realized that I have more this year to be thankful for than I ever had before. If you're reading this, you've been a part of the wonderful life I'm having, and I want to thank you for that. :)

Since I got home from NY, I've been in serious mood swing. I'm not really sure what set it off, but it's resulted in me spending a lot of time thinking about the qualilty of my life and how it can be improved. No solid conclusions have been reached, but it has been determined that I need to get a house of my own and I need to write more. I have been working on that latter, though not here; I shall report on the effects of said writing once that has been determined.

Hmmm, wonder where you set the clock around here -- it's certainly not 02:20, as this entry indicates. It's 8:52, according to my cable box...

Jaye and I will be going to Florida next week for our annual Christmas alien shoot-'em-up. I'm looking forward to this, as it will be our first trip together since last June, when we went to Florida for my family reunion. We're planning on visiting Mr. Disney for the first time in two years -- we hear he's had time to concoct and install a couple of things we haven't seen yet. :)

Other than that, it's been quiet here. Seen a couple of movies, played a couple of video games -- Jim, we're stuck in R&C2 at a jumpy spot that Jaye just can't seem to get working (and is defintely beyond any PS2 skills I possess...) -- gone to a couple of parties, stayed home a lot....

So I really just wanted to wish you all a very nice Thanksgiving. Get stuffed! :)
