An unexpected party
On Friday Chris came by my house afterschool to hang out and jam with him on bass and me on guitar. Then John came by to hang out a few hours before the DO meeting. We all started talking and decided "what the hell, let's form a band." So it's John on vocals, me on rhythem guitar/backing vocals and Chris on bass. John knows someone to play lead guitar and we have a willing drummer, the only problem is Chris doesn't like him much. >.> Anyway, the three of us jammed and tinkered around and ended up writing 2 rough-state songs. All three of us are capable lyric writers and we each have our own styles/themes, so it'll be interesting once we all start writing and contributing.
Around 7:00, John, Chris and I went to the DO meeting, which went pretty smoothly. We got alot of work done and were able to have some fun too, which is really what it's all about.
In short, I'm really looking forward to both of these projects of mine and I can't help but look forward to where they're going. :D I plan on devoting myself to them both outside of school. I believe you get what you give, and I'm prepared to give a lot.
