On Day 3 in a hostel environment
So Louis is almost finished beating Castlevania on the DS...
We started the day by going to the local Fred Meyer grocery store with the hopes of buying soap and peanut butter. I know this mas sound appetizing, but really its rough on the stomach.. And dammit all if we didn't forget the damn laundry detergent. I need clean clothes! I guess I will have to fork over the 50 cents for a cup of detergent from the front desk.
So we had a wonderful breakfast of peanut butter on "fresh" (questionable) free bread in the hostel kitchen. I microwaved mine to make it just a little more ... soft (palatable). I think I might make another trip to the grocery for some cereal and milk.
We took a trip up to Multnomah to visit my aunt, who took us both out for lunch. She was pretty entertaining, talking about her daughter-in-law who takes kosher cooking to the extreme and telling stories about her husband living in a home about his days as a truck driver. She also said that she doesn't like Oregon least of all Portland. LOL.
Dinner may be the hostel's free pizza at 9:15 p.m. or the leftover Chinese. I salivate over the delectable choices.
I'm going to hopefully download a few photos as soon as I feel the Internet is fast enough.
