Of Watchmen and Brendan Fraser.
Most probably in anticipation of March 6th, I dreamt of the Watchmen today. I dreamt that there was a 30-minute preview on TV, and they showed random scenes, including the ending, and the thing was, none of those scenes were in the comic book.
For some reason, now they were in charge of this little girl, and someone very similar to Ozymandias was after her. Nite Owl seemed to be the lead now (with Patrick Wilson looking like a STUD!). I even remember calling my friend to ask her to catch the preview, and her telling me that the reception at her place is crap, so that's totally out of the question.
As of now, my friend's away at uni with no access to television.
Basically, the entire premise was kinda mashed up (looked like a sequel), although the storyline was sadistic in kind of a Saw way. The little girl was thought to have died, but instead, she was forced to solve this intricate puzzle on the wall, (and she had to solve the whole thing, otherwise, the next person to enter the room will die or something), and the same goes for the rest of the heroes.
And then we enter the final chamber. What's weird now is that Brendan Fraser is in it (the Watchmen are completely out of the picture now), and in a nutshell for that entire bit, he sacrifices himself for the girl, but in the end, we see that the chamber is empty, except for the villain dead on the ground (and no, it wasn't Ozy), and this crack in the doorway, where Brendan Fraser presumably made his exit.
