How was I unaware until Just Now that they're making a Sin City 2? *grabbywantsyfingers*

I Have seen the trailer for The Spirit, which I'm pretty excited about, but, but, but Sin City 2. I'll be so happy to see Jessica Alba in not-a-beach-movie. I'll be so happy to sit in the dark with my Gummy Jolly Ranchers and kiddie-pool of popcorn watching ( Read more... )

Sadly, the Spirit is one of those things that makes me twitchy.

It's like they said "Hey, there's a new Star Wars movie coming out!" And then proceeded to show a trailer full of bumfights.

Oh, and they're probably actually doing Sin City 2 and 3 at the same time. 2 being "A Dame to Kill For" and "Family Values" and 3 being "To Hell and Back" and apparently a new story..

Which would make 2 a prequel and 3 kind of a sequel (taking place before the very end of Sin City) see... the books are chronologically out of order and the last moment in the entire series is Marv in the chair at the end of the 1st movie.

So what I'm hearing is that The first Sin City "the first" in the same way thatThe Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is "the first" Chronicle of Narnia.............. I wonder how much of my pocket money would be consumed in the buying of the novels. To Amazon!

Edit: Apparently I can get the whole series for $78.75, free shipping since it's over $25. My paypal finger is twitching. Must... consider... budget! Maybe in a couple of weeks. That's rough. I'm thiiiiis close to finishing Promethea and my mind jaws hunger.

Budget Smudget...

Kevin is right, there is a proper order to things, and by Goddess you should abide by and follow it... Cause we all know things are better when you follow the prescribed order!

But in all seriousness, that is why I bought the director's edition of Sin City, so I could watch the stories as stand alones, and the books are great anyway!
