Quantitative Reasoning
A googal is 10 to the 100th power. That's 10 x 10 x 10....... 100 times.
The number of atoms in the universe is only 10 to the 80th power. Even if we had another universe, the same size as ours, of atoms to count, th total wouldn't even add up to 10 the 81st power.
However, there are just as many ways a deck containing 60 cards can be dealt, as there are atoms in the universe. And in a deck containg 70 cards, there are a little over 10 to the 100th power, a googal, of possiblities.
Hows that for a brain teaser? My math class is cool. We figured all that out today.
And FYI, a googalplex is 10 to the googalth power. that's 10 x 10 x 10 x 10...a googal times. You couldn't even write that out in millions and millions of years.
