JANUARY
1. Did you have a new year's resolution this year?
Not that I remember this late in the year. I usually only make them if they're important enough to not slack off on.
2. Who kissed you at midnight?
Travis Young, on the cheeck.
3. Does it snow where you live?
Snow in the Ghetto. Right. They'd shoot it because it's white. :) But I go to the mountains at least once to twice a year. I love skiing.
4. Do you like hot chocolate?
Preferably with coffee added to it. And marshmallows.
5. Have you ever been to Times Square to watch the ball drop?
Not yet.
FEBRUARY
1. Who was your Valentine?:
Travis Young...he came for the weekend witha dozen long-stem red roses, cigarettes, chocolate covered fruit, red wine and cooked for me the whole weekend. Amongst...other things. It was a good V-Day.
2. When you were little, did you buy valentines for your whole class?
Of course.
3. Do you like Valentines day?
Sometimes. I am a girl, and so roses and candy are always good...it's a fun holiday to be romantic on, or, if one is bitter or anti-V-Day, it's a day to celebrate a horrific Chicago gangland massacre. :)
MARCH
1. Are you Irish?:
A wee drop. Northern Irish, I believe.
2. Do you wear green on St. Patty's day?
Yes. One, it's tradition, and I drink Bushmills or Jamison as well. Two, I support the Catholic base cause in Northern Ireland. I refuse to wear orange on the 17th.
3. What did you do for St. Patty's Day in 2006?
Party at L.C.'s--with Creme de Menthe for green liqour, whisky and fun--and we all went and saw V for Vendetta the next day. The crew, Travis and I.
APRIL
1. Do you like the rain?
I love it. Walking in it, puddle-jumping in it, dancing in it, watching it from inside, hearing it.
2. Did you play an April fool's joke on anyone this year?
I think I did. Travis and the boys got me GOOD ten minutes before it became April 2.
3. Do you get tons of candy on Easter?
Yes, I have a mother and grandparents. Traditions die hard with my family.
4. Do you celebrate 4/20?
Somewhat; I have many many stoner friends. Watch Cheech and Chong, Dude Where's My Car, HalfBaked, etc. I still like the "cellular blunt" SuperJoey sent me that afternoon.
MAY
1. What's your favorite kind of flower?
Roses
2. Do you like the spring?
Ish. The Bay Area overcast hurts my eyes, and my allergies go haywaire. But My birthday is the end of March, so I can't dislike spring. :)
3. What is the first color you think of when you think of Spring?
light green
JUNE
1. Did you realize nothing special happens in June?
Um, Valhalla Fair. My mother's birthday. My parents going away for two weeks every year. Beginning of summer.
JULY
2. What did you do on the Fourth of July?
Threw a birthday party for my friend Jourell, who is an Independence Baby, bbq'ed and ran around Oakland watching fireworks and setting some off in the ghetto. Of course, in costume.
3. Did you go on any vacations during this month?
Nope. No Novato Fair. But I did move out. Saw Miami Vice three or four times. In costume.
4. Do you blast the A/C all day?
Nope. I leave the door open.
AUGUST
1. Did you do anything special at the end of your summer?
Nope. Saw "Snakes on a Plane", and continued doing the costume movies with my friends.
2. What was your favorite summer memory of '06?
The comradery with the boys. My family going to Europe and leaving me the house for ten days.
3. Did you have a sunburn?
Nope wasn't in the sun without a hat enough. Good driver's tan, though.
4. Did you go to the beach a lot?
Nope. Was working for CalShakes.
SEPTEMBER
1. Did you start school?
No
2. Did you celebrate homecoming?
Does NCRF count? :)
3. Anything special happen?
I was not supposed to work RenFaire. By a fluke, CalShakes gave me Opening Weekend off and Norm needed help with Hell Friday. I went down with him and Denise, set the booth up...ran into a friend I never thought I'd see again who I had missed terribly...and worked every other weekend of Northern as the Official Wild Card. It was the most magical and eye-opening season I have ever had.
OCTOBER
1. Do anything Halloween-related?
Hallowe'en party with James and the Crew at L.C.'s, costume required.

A VERY non-period pirate captain. Latex and leather and all.

Not this year.
NOVEMBER
1. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving?
Yes, it's one of the big three family holidays. And we play cards, Munchkin, and watch the Bond marathon together every year.
2. Do you watch football?
GO NINERS!
3. Going anywhere special?
I think I'm finally on the right track with the right people. Pieces are falling exactly into place and I am fixing myself as well as learning to stop stressing and trying to fix things--if I can, the opporunity will present itself. If I can't, I wasn't meant to.
DECEMBER
1. Do you like Christmas?
Bigest family holiday, lasting a minimum of three days. 18 people descending upon my parents' house--all 4 of us, and my 4 cousins. All grandparents, the uncles and aunts...my favorite.
2. Do you have Christmas break?
Currently still unemployed, so, sadly, yes.
3. Are you excited for a new year?
Yes. This year was a lot of realization, learning, second chances, and Fate. 2007 is due to be exceptional...I'm excited.
