James Walker called me as I got home from work and dealt with the shitstorm there, needing me to find someone (or do it myself) to serve his mother with a restraining order and get her out of the Hell House. (She served him with one a week ago.) So I went and got Gordon, and she was served. Laura was even there. We stood in the rain for close to three hours dealing with the restraint, the ensuing yelling and drama, calling the cops and dealing with the cops. Laura and Gordon dealt with the cops and the house directly while James paced several hundred feet away and I spent half the time trying to calm him as well as calling...certain...people and arranging things.
In the end she was evicted until the hearing. Gordy and I are running a few patrols over the course of the night to ensure she does not think she is slick and tries to come back to the house.
The next 24 hours I will spend moving. Nonstop. Friday I will finish that task, load the van and Denise and Isaac and possibly James Doyle and Hobbit, and head for Faire early to finalize jobs in the off-season that may have me working for the Company. I'm working for one of the costume booths this weekend. (Supposedly) They begin filming the movie this week.
The stage has been set. As soon as the lights come up this time, I daresay I can finally take off. :)
