Job stuff
IV Spot: The awesome 24 hour Persian restaurant isn't 24 hours yet, and didn't call me back, and didn't call some other people back, and only really hired waitresses n shit. I thought it'd be more bar/cafe-esque.
Java: Applied. Awesome resume submitted to solid acquaintance. Successful schmoozing of all employees. Apparently 4 people have already been hired, but the guy (Matt) I gave the resume to told the manager to hire me. She said 'what, should I fire someone?' and he said "yeah, fire Ramsey", to which she responded "Ok, Ill fire Ramsey". Ee. We'll see where that goes.
Mojo: It's a bike/bus ride away, which is do-able. But, the guy wants to have people who will work holidays. I'm cool with working Thanksgiving, I've stayed out here for that before, but Christmas... ee. I could get home on Christmas eve sometime around 8 or 9, do all the festivities, spend Christmas at home and make it back to SB to work... but... The big problem, I think, would be the crippling loneliness over the break when everybody goes home. I'd basically be sitting around sewing and playing with my fish.
Other: Apparently Coffee Cat downtown is hiring, and I heard the CBTL in Goleta was understaffed as well (Tama is this the one you're at?). I need a job.
