Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities: See
wiki for a fairly good explanation of his combat abilities. To summarize, though, he is an excellent marksmen with a specialty in spacial manipulation. That means he can teleport in battle, re-direct his bullets however he likes, alter the shape of the battlefield itself, all the while hovering in midair (sometimes upside down). There is a point where he has to pause and reload, however, which is why long range battle is his preference.
Abilities he shares with other Nobodies include the power to perform magic spells at different levels of power. Details are
here, but the baseline spells Xigbar uses are as follows:
1) Fire - Magic that shoots a ball of flame.
2) Blizzard - Magic that shoots ice crystals that pursue foes, potentially freezing them.
3) Aero - Magic that shoots a swift gust of wind at the foe.
4) Thunder - Magic that becomes a line of fast-moving lightning bolts that travel straight and can hit multiple enemies.
He also commands
Sniper Nobodies and
Dusks, but unless some of them appear in Siren's Port, this power won't come into play.
Finally, like other Nobodies, Xigbar has the ability to travel through corridors of darkness. Usually, this ability would take him to other worlds, but given the nature of Siren's Port, he'll only be able to use them within the bounds of the city.
Conditional: If your character has no superhuman canon abilities, what dormant ability will you give them? N/A
Weapons: Xigbar uses
Arrowguns, also called the
Sharpshooter. It can hold up to thirty-two bullets, and of course, Xigbar has the ability to summon his weapons whenever he wants.
History/Personality/Plans/etc.
Character History:
Here and
here.
Point in Canon: After his death at the hands of Sora, Donald, and Goofy in the World That Never Was, so fairly close to the end of the game. By that point, most of the Organization XIII members were already deceased, making Xigbar the fourth to last to go before Luxord, Saïx, and Xemnas. All things considered, Xigbar took his demise rather well, fading into darkness with a final cryptic comment after Sora questioned him about Roxas: "Wouldn't you like to know..."
Conditional: Brief summary of previous RP history: N/A
Character Personality: Of all the members of Organization XIII, Xigbar is undoubtedly one of the more complex and difficult to pin down. That he can't really "feel" goes without saying. He's a Nobody, the shell of a whole person, and has been ever since he lost his heart to the Darkness over a decade ago. He has, however, retained his "self" in-so-far as his personality goes.
On the surface, Xigbar has a laid back, cocky attitude, which is emphasized by his "Surfer Dude" accent in the English version of the games. He is constantly making wisecracks and giving people nicknames (he calls Roxas "tiger" and "kiddo" and dubs Axel "Flamesilocks" as one point), and he has a tendency to go out of his way to be obnoxious to certain people. It doesn't matter what the situation is -- whether he's on a mission, in a tight situation, or even sitting in the throne room of the Organization discussing serious business, he never breaks character.
Behind that puckish exterior, however, lies a very shrewd, calculating mind. Though Xigbar is hardly what one would call a mastermind or schemer (Xemnas, Saïx, and Zexion fit the bill much better than he does), he is an excellent "right hand man" -- a collaborator and underling for those pulling the strings. He doesn't mind the dirty-work -- if anything he appears to enjoy it (as evidenced by the shit-eating grin when he prepares to attack Sora), and despite his high rank in the Organization, it's clear that he isn't actually second-in-command (a position claimed by Saïx). He's relegated to other tasks, such as missions with Roxas or recruiting other members to the Organization, though it's apparent from his callous comments about them (at one point, towards the end of the game, he makes an offhand remark about how many empty seats the Organization has) that he doesn't really care about the well-being of his fellow members.
Still, the rank itself is very important since it symbolizes who Xigbar actually is: i.e. the original co-conspirator. As Braig, he made a bargain with Master Xehanort, helped him orchestrate Terra's fall to Darkness, willingly succumbed to the Darkness himself (as evidenced by the Xehanort-like golden eye and pointed ears towards the end of KH: Birth by Sleep) and continued to aid Xehanort even after he lost his memories and became an apprentice to Ansem the Wise. He's the "old man" of the Organization, the veteran fighter who holds many secrets and makes a point of acquiring others. There are at least three instances where Xigbar spies on his fellow members: once during a conversation between Axel and Xion, another between Vexen and Zexion, and when Xemnas visits the Chamber of Repose. He often drops hints, alluding to what he knows in a taunting manner without ever giving a definitive answer, and he is privy to most, if not all of the Organization's most sensitive secrets and projects. That he's an opportunist goes without saying, but only within certain bounds. He's loyal to the Organization (Xehanort/Xemnas in particular) and given his penchant for eavesdropping, he knows exactly where he stands with the other members, in addition to having insights that often go unsaid (e.g. his
comments in the Secret Reports of Organization XIII).
All-in-all, Xigbar is a consummate troll, but one with a decidedly dangerous edge. Get on his bad side or the bad side of the fellow he happens to work for, and he won't hesitate to make the problem disappear.
Conditional: Personality development in previous game: N/A
Character Plans: Given the large KH cast at
sirenspull, Xigbar will undoubtedly find plenty to do with regards to them, whether it's trolling shamelessly, spying keeping an eye on them, or plotting with his fellow baddies. It's also likely that he'll join AGI or SERO, depending on which strikes his fancy the most.

[ The device turns on, revealing a hooded figure clad in a black coat. The angle makes it difficult to discern the surrounding area or the user's features, but the voice that comes through is nothing if not expressive -- exasperated and resigned. ]
Maaaan, oh, man. Just when you think you've seen it all, something crops up to bite you in the ass.
[ He chuckles and shakes his head, shrugging helplessly. ] Boy, this is some cliché.
[ There's a brief pause before he leans in a little, considering the faceless denizens on the other end of the feed with apparent interest. ]
So. Which of you friendly newcomers feel like lending a brother a hand?

I'm dead.
That was his first thought when he hit the ground, face-down in the dirt. He chuckled, despite himself.
So, the little sneak actually had it in him. Heh. Who knew?
That was his second thought, punctuated suddenly by the realization that it was dirt he was lying on -- something solid and real. Wait. Lifting his head to look around (and oh, what a sight it was), he pushed himself into a crouching position, a single, golden eye narrowing briefly. This wasn't the castle, or even the World That Never Was for that matter.
It was Somewhere Else.
Frowning a little, he stood, brushing himself off before taking a better look around. None of this should even be possible -- he'd died, hadn't he? Faded away and everything. So, how could he exist (Heh. "Exist", he thought ironically) when even his non-existence had been destroyed?
He rubbed his chin thoughtfully, idly sticking the other hand in his coat pocket, only to be vaguely taken aback by a device nestled deep inside. Pulling it out, he gave it a once over, snorting despite himself when he saw the Nobody insignia on it. How very convenient.
Flipping open the NV, he scanned it for any information, a slow, easy smirk beginning to pull at the corners of his mouth. Closing it again, Xigbar walked away, his hood pulled over his face. He'd eavesdrop on the Greeters for now, maybe harass a few Somebodies for directions, and then?
He'd see for himself exactly what opportunities this world had afforded him with.
