MUSIC.

Recently I have felt very close to music again, I mean I spend a lot of time listening to techno (probably not they way you would expect) but that is very much an extent of my social life rather than my being. Generally I prefer ethereal styling and experimental approaches, anything that I feel has been influenced by Kate Bush and employs her strategies of composition. Anyway the point is there is new Anja Garbarek stuff coming out and she is still good... shocking after so many years on hiatus.

Apart from that the Cocteau Twins have become a part of my daily musical diet again and I have also re-introduced Cranes. I am so grateful that music can make me this happy, it's difficult to imagine myself without and also to the thought of neglecting the music I truly believe to beautiful.

In other news I am severely stressed with my studies, after speaking to a few people I am perhaps leaning towards teaching at senior level, as archaeology is unlikely to offer me a career at the end. The thought of being 30 without doing a day in a 'career' fills me will woes. I would be training to teach RE, citizenship and PHSE but that is basically consequence to not wanting to spoil history for myself,it's something I can't really see myself doing as anything with management or financial roles is beyond me and I simply do not have the time to do a PHD.

*Sigh*
